The algebra competition is a 45-minute exam which consists of approximately 20 multiple choice questions. The participant will enter her/his answers on a scantron form (provided by the University). Each participant will need to bring a number of No. 2 pencils. No calculators may be used in the geometry competition.
The geometry exam will cover topics from standard Euclidean geometry, including topics such as parallel lines, angle measures, segment measures, circles, polygons, distance theorem, and the Pythagorean theorem. There will be no proofs.
Due to space restrictions we request that each school register no more than 8 students for this competition.
Notice : The geometry and the calculator use competitions are running concurrently and as such participants can't compete in both of these events.
