Welcome to the Texas Beta chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon!!

The purpose of Pi Mu Epsilon is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among students in academic institutions and among the staff of qualified non-academic institutions.

Our year-end picnic will be held Friday, May 9 at Port Neches park at noon. Here are the directions to the park.

Here are some of the things we did this semester:

• We provided a free tutoring service for students in the Academy program.
• We had 5 students attend the MAA meeting in Huntsville April 4-5, 2003
• We had a booth at Springfest and helped out at Mathfest.
